Wausau, Wisc. (February 7, 2007)
Winners have been announced in the Fourth Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA). SIAA is the only advertising awards to specifically recognize the creativity and communication achievements of the service industry. Over 2,000 entries were received in this year’s competition—that represents a 25% increase in entries over previous competitions. A national panel of judges evaluated and rated entries in 11 groups and 25 different categories.
Van De Yacht & Associates Advertising Agency of Wausau was honored with three awards in this year’s Service Industry Advertising Award competition. Van De Yacht & Associates earned a Gold Award for Portage County Business Council’s new economic development brochure; a Bronze Award for Bone & Joint Clinic’s lifestyle radio ad series; and a Merit Award for Marshfield Utilities’ Purific fundraising water bottle label design. The judges reviewed every entry for execution, creativity, quality, consumer appeal, and overall breakthrough advertising content.
Agency President Dennis Van De Yacht said, “Being recognized by our peers for creative excellence is a wonderful affirmation of our team’s creative talents, and a direct reflection of the trust that our clients place in our strategic recommendations. We proudly accept these awards on behalf of the Portage County Business Council, Bone & Joint Clinic, and Marshfield Utilities.”
